# Shopvibe > Shopvibe (Shopify App Store listing: "Shipping Cost Audit ‑ Shopvibe") is a Shopify app > that compares what a store's checkout charged for shipping with what each label, carrier > invoice and 3PL bill really cost. It finds label adjustments added after purchase, > destinations and shipping methods that under-recover, multi-box orders, products with no > weight, shipping profile gaps, and duties paid but not collected, and builds dispute > packets for carrier adjustments. It only reads; it never changes the store. Published by > Decision Trees Inc of Vancouver, Canada. On the Shopify App Store since May 25, 2026. App Store subtitle: "Find shipping costs checkout didn't cover, and dispute them" App Store introduction: "Compare what checkout charged for shipping with what each label, carrier and 3PL bill really cost." Website headline: "The shipping cost audit for Shopify" Shipping costs leak quietly: label adjustments added after purchase, rates set too low for a destination, orders quoted as one box but shipped in several, and duties paid but not collected. Shopvibe reads a store's orders and Shopify Shipping label costs, plus the carrier invoices, 3PL bills and Shopify bills the merchant uploads, and shows each gap with the rows behind it. The merchant fixes the rate or product causing it, or sends the carrier a dispute packet. - App listing: https://apps.shopify.com/shopvibe - Runs in: Shopify Admin - Language: English - Billing: USD, every 30 days ## How it works **1. Charged vs. cost.** For each order, Shopvibe compares the shipping the customer paid at checkout with every cost of shipping it: Shopify Shipping labels (read from Shopify, no upload needed), carrier invoice lines, adjustments added later, and 3PL shipping charges. Free-shipping orders count as a $0 charge. Orders shipped in several boxes add up all their labels. Every number links to the order, label or invoice line behind it. **2. Label adjustments and disputes.** Shopvibe finds charges added after a label was bought: weight and dimension corrections, address corrections, and surcharges such as residential, delivery area and additional handling, plus Shopify Shipping label adjustments. On the Launch plan it builds a dispute packet per carrier (CSV and PDF) with tracking numbers, invoice lines, and declared versus billed weight and dimensions. The merchant sends it; Shopvibe does not contact carriers. When the cause is the merchant's own data (a product with no weight or no box size), Shopvibe points to the product instead. **3. Destinations and methods.** Gaps are broken down by destination (states, zones, countries), shipping method, and free-shipping thresholds, so the merchant can see which rate to fix. Includes duties and import taxes paid on international orders that checkout didn't charge. Launch adds a weekly leakage email and CSV export of findings. **4. Shipping setup checks.** Flags orders quoted as one box but shipped in several, products with no weight, shipping profile gaps (such as heavy or oversized products sharing a flat rate meant for small ones), and markets where duties aren't collected at checkout. Each check names the product, profile or rate to change in Shopify. **5. Bills.** Reads UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, 3PL and Shopify bills uploaded as CSV, PDF or a photo, and matches each line to the order it shipped. Free includes 2 statement uploads a month; Launch is unlimited. ## Pricing All charges are billed in USD every 30 days. The Free plan has no time limit. Launch includes a 14-day free trial. | Plan | Monthly | Annual | | --- | --- | --- | | Free | $0 | — | | Launch | $29 | $300 (save 14%) | **Free** — 60 days of orders audited, Shopify Shipping label costs, undercharge and multi-box checks, shipping setup checks, 2 statement uploads a month. **Launch ($29/mo)** — everything in Free, 365 days of orders audited, unlimited statement uploads, dispute packets, CSV export of findings, weekly leakage email, email support. ## Frequently asked questions **What is Shopvibe?** A Shopify app that audits shipping costs: it compares what checkout charged for shipping with what each label, carrier invoice and 3PL bill really cost, and shows every gap with the orders and invoice lines behind it. Listed as "Shipping Cost Audit ‑ Shopvibe". Published by Decision Trees Inc. **Does Shopvibe change my store?** No. It only reads. It never edits orders, products, rates or shipping settings. **Which bills can it read?** UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL invoices, 3PL bills and Shopify bills, as CSV, PDF or a photo. Shopify Shipping label costs are read from Shopify directly. **Does Shopvibe dispute charges with carriers for me?** No. On Launch it builds the dispute packet; the merchant sends it through the carrier's billing dispute process. **Does it work with a 3PL?** Yes. Uploaded 3PL bills are matched to orders the same way as carrier invoices. **Can it find duties I paid but didn't collect?** Yes. Duty and import tax lines on carrier or 3PL bills are compared with what checkout charged on each international order. ## Glossary (as used in Shopvibe) - **Shipping leakage**: the gap between what checkout charged for shipping and what shipping really cost, added up over many orders. - **Shipping undercharge**: an order where the customer paid less for shipping than its labels, adjustments and fees cost. Free-shipping orders count as a $0 charge. - **Label adjustment**: a charge (or credit) added to a label after purchase, usually after the carrier re-weighs or re-measures the package, corrects the address, or adds a surcharge. - **Dimensional weight**: length × width × height ÷ the carrier's divisor (139 for UPS daily rates and FedEx; 166 for UPS retail domestic), rounded up; the carrier bills the higher of dimensional and actual weight. - **Address correction**: a per-package fee for fixing a delivery address. - **Residential surcharge**: an extra fee for delivering to a home instead of a business. - **Multi-box order**: quoted at checkout as one package, shipped as two or more labels. - **Shipping profile gap**: a Shopify shipping profile setting that lets checkout quote too little, such as heavy products on a flat rate meant for small ones. - **Duties paid, not collected**: duties and import taxes billed to the merchant on an international order whose checkout didn't charge them. - **Dispute packet**: tracking numbers, invoice lines, and declared versus billed weight and dimensions for a carrier billing dispute. ## Guides Summaries of the Shopvibe blog, checked against official sources on October 22, 2026. ### Are you undercharging for shipping on Shopify? https://shopvibe.app/blog/shopify-shipping-undercharging.html - Shopify's "Shipping labels by order" report shows shipping price charged and label cost per order, but excludes adjustments, return labels, voided labels and labels bought outside Shopify. - Shopify treats a product with no weight as weightless, so rates come out too low. - A variant's own package applies only to single-item orders; other orders use the default package unless packed product sizes are set and a saved box fits. - Shopify says UPS demand and handling surcharges aren't included in checkout rates. - Handling fees on calculated rates: percentage applied first ($5 rate + 50% + $1 = $8.50). - Market-driven shipping (rollout from October 1, 2026; all stores by July 1, 2027) charges the highest matching rate within a shipping option instead of the sum. ### Shopify Shipping label adjustments https://shopvibe.app/blog/shopify-shipping-label-adjustments.html - The carrier checks each package against its label after shipping and charges or credits the difference; it appears in the order Timeline and on the next Shopify bill, days or weeks later. - Causes Shopify lists: wrong weight, wrong dimensions, flat-rate/weight-based mismatch, wrong mail class, unsupported packaging, restricted contents, address correction, return to sender, over-maximum size or weight. - Bill path: Settings › Billing › Bills › bill › Shipping section › number of shipping fees. - Dispute through Shopify Support with the order number and photos (package on a scale, next to a tape measure). No fixed deadline; late disputes might not be reviewed. - Labels can be voided within 30 days if they have no tracking events; credit goes to the Shopify account. USPS First Class Mail labels can't be voided. ### UPS and FedEx invoice adjustments: how to audit and dispute https://shopvibe.app/blog/ups-fedex-invoice-adjustments-dispute.html - 2026 U.S. address correction: UPS $25.25 per package; FedEx $25.50 per correction. - 2026 residential: UPS Ground $6.50; FedEx Ground/Home Delivery $6.45. - UPS Shipping Charge Correction Audit Fee: applies when corrections average over $1.00 per corrected package in an invoice week; greater of $1.65 per corrected package or 12% of corrections. - Dispute windows: UPS 180 days from receiving the invoice (tariff §53); FedEx 180 days from the invoice date for U.S. shipments, 60 days international; USPS APV 60 days from notification. - UPS may deny all of a requester's disputes if batches are filed without a substantial basis. - Money-back guarantees: suspended for UPS and FedEx ground services; active for some express services (FedEx reinstated overnight and 2Day A.M. on January 13, 2026). ### Duties you paid but didn't collect: DDP vs DAP on Shopify https://shopvibe.app/blog/duties-paid-not-collected.html - DDP: seller pays duties and taxes. DAP (formerly DDU): buyer pays on delivery. - Refused DAP shipments: FedEx bills the original shipper; UPS reverses unpaid invoices to the shipper with a $24.00 chargeback fee; DHL Express returns at the shipper's cost. - Shopify duty collection at checkout: all plans since February 2, 2025; needs HS codes; not available in the Rest of world zone; excludes brokerage and disbursement fees. - 2026 disbursement fees: UPS 2.5% (min $17.50); FedEx US 2.5% or $17.50; DHL Express duty tax paid $17.00 or 2%. - US de minimis suspended for all countries since August 29, 2025 (still in effect). EU €3 duty per item on consignments up to €150 from July 1, 2026 to July 1, 2028. ## Data access Shopvibe reads the store's orders, products, shipping settings and Shopify Shipping label costs, and the bills the merchant uploads.
